How to Pack Fragile Items
1. Use a Strong Inner Box
Wrap the item in bubble wrap or foam.
Place it inside a solid cardboard box with padding on all sides.
2. Double Protection with a Wooden Crate
Put the boxed item inside a wooden crate or wooden frame.
Use foam, corner blocks, or shock pads to keep it stable inside the crate.
🔧 Why?
Wooden crates add strong outer protection during long shipping, especially for sea freight or large/heavy fragile items.
3. Moisture Protection (For Sea Shipping)
• Wrap items in plastic film to keep water out.
• Add silica gel or desiccant packs inside the box.
• Use water-resistant tape and waterproof labels.
4. Seal and Label Clearly
• Nail or screw the wooden crate shut securely.
• Use strong tape for boxes inside.
• Label the crate: “FRAGILE”, “THIS SIDE UP”, and “DO NOT STACK” if needed.
5. Use a Pallet for Transport
• Place the wooden crate or box on a pallet.
• This helps with forklift handling and keeps the cargo off the ground.

âś… Quick Safety Tips:
• No empty space inside: Fill all gaps with soft material.
• Secure everything: If it moves, it can break.
• Stack smart: Fragile items go on top, never below heavy boxes.
• Use crates for heavy, valuable, or very fragile items.
